Dr. Tamar Lipof attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She also completed her surgical residency at the UCONN School of Medicine. She continued her training at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Health System for completion of a Colorectal Surgery Fellowship in 2010.
She is board certified by the American College of Surgeons and board certified by the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. She has particular interest in colon and rectal surgery (laparoscopic, cancer, and sphincter preserving), laparoscopic colectomy, colostomy, fecal incontinence, diverticulitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, hemorrhoids/anal conditions (including anal fissures, anal fistula, and anal condyloma) and general surgery.
She enjoys alpine skiing, travel, fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
